From the development of SAFLOK’s latest lock innovation, Quantum™, comes the Quantum remote
control/elevator control unit (RCU/ECU) – a versatile stand-alone card reader controller in an RFID format.
Through the application of contactless smart card technology, this remote control device is designed to work
with all electrified access control devices for perimeter doors, concierge floors, common areas, and other
secured areas with electrified hardware.

SAFLOK’s™ remote control unit (RCU) is a stand-alone electronic keycard reader designed to work with a
variety of exit device applications. The reader offers the widest possible range of security and convenience.
Robust, reliable, and durable, the RCU is compatible with perimeter door exit devices, entry doors requiring
“after-hours” admission, health clubs, spas, and banquet facilities.
